Well hello my lovely readers, my name is Molly Marie Zook,
The whole point of this blog is to vent, weep, yell, scream, cry, faint, and just reside in the many emotions books will inevitably give you. It will mainly be young adult books written by amazingly talented authors, who make their readers want to throw their books at the wall, but then run over and cradle the book in your arms as your tears run down your face from a character death or breakup. Also known has any Cassandra Clare or Sarah J Maas book ever written. Right? Right.
I live in Minnesota, U.S., where it is freezing almost all year, and covered in snow constantly. I’ll be going into high school in the fall, where my main goal is to not get shoved in a locker by a senior, and to not get lost while going to my classes. Besides reading, I occasionally get obsessed with Netflix TV shows, examples may be Vampire Diaries, Gilmore Girls, and Glee. Music is constantly playing when I’m doing anything, including reading. It would most likely be anything by Troye Sivan, Tove Lo, Halsey, Twenty One Pilots, or Niykee Heaton, but I just like discovering any new music. I can never get enough of iced green tea from Starbucks, or my chai tea lattes from Caribou ( Trust me, I know Caribou and Starbucks are enemies, but I like both). My reading snacks vary everyday, but their mostly pretzels, carrots, and peanut butter. I would like to have my snacks be M & Ms and chocolate, but atlas. I do occasionally have ice cream while I’m reading, but that’s mostly when I’m having a breakdown and in hysterical tears and need to be comforted by Ben & Jerry’s (Which is often based on how many books I read).
Speaking of books, some of my favorites are The Mara Dyer Series, The Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, We Were Liars, Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Red Queen, An Ember in the Ashes, and so many more. For some reason I tend to mostly want to read fantasies and dystopian in the winter, and contemporaries in the summer, but I usually just read whatever looks the best to me then and there. I keep a book tracking chart every year, along with a Goodreads account I try to update everyday.
I have a passion for changing people’s views on reading. My wish is that young adults and teens who don’t like reading, will find a book that speaks to them, and that will change their opinion. That is one reason for creating this blog. To introduce people to new books they have a possibility of loving, which then turns them into a book lover, and then possibly a bibliophile. As I am, and as you are.
So that’s basically me!
On this blog I’m aiming to post a review one day and a section of my own writing another day. Maybe two reviews a week, perhaps?
I hope you enjoy this blog, finding new books to discover, reading reviews, and possibly talking to new people who love young adult books just has much has you do.
